Looking for a reason to get out on a Saturday night, here it is once again. Saturday May 17th Moore’s Bait & Tackle will be holding a Catfish Contest for both Channels and Flatheads. A $10.00 entry fee is required prior to the start time, which will run from 7:00 pm Saturday thru 6:00 am Sunday morning. On the Minnesota River The boundries will be from the downstream side of the trussel bridge in Carver, to the confluence with the Mississippi. On the Mississippi the boundry will be Pool #2 (from below the Ford Damn to above the Hastings Damn). This is a catch and release contest, so all photos with length and girth measurements need to be submited to Moore’s Bait & Tackle via in person or by e-mail by 6:00 am Monday May 19th. There will be a first and second place in each catogory, with a sixty-thirty split, $1.00 of entry fee will be used for pizza get togethers later in the year.
