Sturgeon Excursion – Woodside Cabin Available

    Much as it sucks for me, for someone there’s a real opportunity here. My wife isn’t up to making the trip and none of my guys could get vacation time for that weekend… so I decided that rather than haul @$$ up there by myself I’ll just delay my sturgeon fishing till the fall on the St. Croix and surrender my cabin to someone else who can use it.

    So, as of about 5 minutes ago the Woodside cabin is available at Wigwam.

    Sorry to hear that, it does stink. Gota hurt when one waits all year for the sturgeon time on the Rainy. I feel for ya.

    I know it has been said a million times but there is always another day for fishing.

    Gotta be very painful. I hate when I have to wait for a few weeks.

    Yeah, it kinda hurts… especially since I rearranged a whole bunch of this end of the universe to make it happen. But, c’est la vie… I’ll hook into something big this fall on the St. Croix. And there’s always another sturgeon excursion.

    My wife’s fibromyalgia just prevents her from taking long trips, anything over about an hour starts to get rough. So she’s out. I had a couple friends on the hook (pun intended) to come up with me and they couldn’t get vacation time.

    And it doesn’t help that I used up 2 weeks vacation time when my folks were in town last month. So if I can’t head up dragging the boat and a few people with me it just makes more sense for me to reserve my remaining few vacation days for other things and let someone else who can really use it take the cabin.

    I’m sure as heck not going to drive my truck pulling a 2500 lb pontoon/trailer combo up there just for myself… yech!
