What a perfect day to be on the river for January.
Although Jesse and I didn’t have a fishing rod in the boat (last time I’m listening to you Jesse) we “caught” a lot of fish on camera.
The last photo is of the rare Winter Walleye Angler. They can be found frequently on Pool 4 but generally, like this one they’re pretty lethargic until the walleye bug kicks in. I’m not sure who looks more comfortable, Jesse or the wintering flathead! 
Proof positive that ‘cold’ is only a ‘thought’ and he’s prolly thinking “why the ell isn’t Bk driving this thing?”
Did he ever open his eyes or was he relying on you for directions?
Not even one rod in the boat?……COME ON MAN!

I found a pile of those wiskered tanks on Wensday with my camera!! They are so big that I didnt relieze what I was looking at till I slid the cam right over there backs!! They didnt even flinch!!
Clarification! I wanted a rod for the channels…in case there is any confusion.
It’s hard to see them (because of the size) unless you know what your looking for isn’t it Ben?
