on the river out of Everts Thursday!

We’re going to be doing some floating around in the afternoon, then looking for a <censored> dinner…if that doesn’t work it’s going to be the Bluff’s Thursday night.

Since I hear the waters cleaned up pretty good, I ‘spose that Stuart Pro Blue Paddletail will be the ticket. Anyone know if 1/4 oz is about right for jigging now?

I’ll report back tonight if the ramps are filled with snow.

    OK then!

The last question that everyone wants to know is…

Do you kiss on your first date?

Best of luck to ya.I have not been able to find the time to get out.I thought when I got old that life would slow down and give me more fishing time.WRONG

The only reason time slows down is because it takes us longer to get things done….which means less time in the day to do the same (like fishing).

Sooo when your wife says “do you have to go fishing today” I always say YES. I might not have enough time tomorrow.

Thanks for the well wishes Stuart.

    Merry Christmas to your family!

Totally dependent on the quality of baked goods involved.

Be carefull with that richtor. I can’t imagine how many sleeping flatheads you could roust out of their wintering holes with that thing.

There was another bag of paddle tails on the counter when we were down Saturday that worked VERY WELL for us. There were also some jig heads on the counter that worked VERY WELL for us. The paddle tails were not pro blue and the jigs were not silver

That’s an old Dean trick. When a person works there like I do, you get to know all of his tricks over time.

What Dean puts on the counter will catch fish, no doubt, but when you present the baked goods is when the HOT baits come out.

    Trust me on this.

PS Herb, there’s more sport in whacking <censored> than a big old flathead target. Beats snagging them!

Of course not. The wife is getting older and sometimes I need motivation

If Dean wants to know why the Mountain Dew is sprayed all over this screen and keyboard…it’s your fault.
