I have sunflower seed shells all over my garage floor.

The FW won’t go in the garage until it’s gone.

    Can I borrow your snake?

When I first read this post I thought you were the one that left the seeds on the floor. If so we would need a bigger snake.

Dude, asking me if you can borrow my snake has such inappropriate connotations I can hardly believe you’re asking me. I mean, I love you man, but isn’t that…

    Oh, wait…

You have a rodent problem. You want… a real snake.

We have two these days, and they’re both in hibernation till April/May I’m afraid.

If you would close your garage doors you wouldn’t have the birds in there.

I told my FG that if she preferred to have the mice move into the house, I would stop feeding Ted in the garage. I am surprised with all the shrews we still have mice in the yard.

By the way, I think Ted or his relative lives in the house still. You know the one whose young fell to his death into the cat water bowl. I am thinking about sending one of the sissy cats up above the ceiling tile to earn their keeps.

Got some video of the mouse, bunnies and birds feeding on thistle under the feeder.

Ted is going to be dead. Little F’er broke the rules and left clues to him being out of the ceiling and walls. Thanks cats for doing your jobs you good for nothing…

I just hope it is quick. Been a while since I snapped a rodent’s neck to put them out of their misery.

Hey, I hunted a few times in my youth. I actually wouldn’t mind taking up pheasant hunting.

That would be futile. He does point at crows though.

    TED IS DEAD!

I guess with us gone over the weekend, Ted thought it was safe to come out from above the basement ceiling tiles. Well one of our stealthy cats caught him and disposed of him!

Either that or he died of old age or heat exhaustion and fell to the floor. Then the cats placed him somewhere they would get credit for it.

I’m thinking Ido should make a memorial forum for Ted.

Ted was a good mouse that wouldn’t harm a flea. In fact, he raised three generations literally on his back. We will all miss Ted but we can take some joy that he lives on in the hearts and minds of many.

    His legacy lives on.

    RIP Ted

Um, I hope you are joking by putting a picture of a hamster…in a paper tube.

Obviously from my half-hearted attempts to get him, I will say he will sort of be missed. But he was up there at least the better part of 2 years. I’d say since mice only live about 3 years, he lived a long, good life.

Now I know what some will say, its a dang mouse, kill it already. I did have CAB and a spring trap up there, but he was too smart for them both. I bought mouse glue traps, but I never had the conscience to use them. Hey, it is who I am.

Now I have to plug the 2 holes by the air conditioner pipes he used and make sure I am never in this position again. That and I have to replace some tiles which I am dreading even looking at.

I am not escared of them. I picked him up by the tail when I found him.

I miss the Deer Mice that were in the garage. They vacated it a long time ago before it got too hot…I hope.

    Hmm…

So I guess there IS one more Ted. Found this guy on the table where we keep the cat’s bowls. No signs of injury, but he wasn’t doing very good either. He’s in a container in the garage with a spec of peanut butter and a little water. If he makes it to tomorrow, he’s going in a field…far, far away.
