You’re killing me Brian. If my wife sees this she will be asking when I’m going to take her out. And that is one stiff looking pole to be putting that kind of bend in.

Reminds me of a video I once saw of a popular fishing show/magazine that was snagging… err catching flatheads in a wintering hole just below dam #3 for one of their shows.

It’s funny that other tv shows haven’t picked up on this yet.

…that and shooting bears in their wintering dens.

It is also fun to let out a treble hook and throw a towel on it and reel it in.

Wow, Pug the new picture is only slightly disturbing…

OK it is very disturbing. I can only imagine your girlfriend waking up to that every morning

That’s why I sleep “in the other room”.

I couldn’t bare to look at my picture holding a flathead. That is too depressing this time of year. And the new picture kind of sums up my feeling for the next few months of cabin fever until March.

Don’t let the DNR catch you wantonly wasting walleye by throwing them under other peoples’ vehicles! Or in their back seats, even as a wintertime prank. Apparently “because I saw it in a movie” isn’t a valid legal defense against G&F violations… even if it DID win the “most righteous use of a walleye in a motion picture or even real life” award.
