Sounds like you guys had one hell of a night chasing sturgeon.
Congratulations Ray on catching a PB sturgeon, and on landing one hand lining.
Ray is my brother and I would have asked to go along but I knew I had to work this weekend. I think you guys are going out again tonight. Take advantage of this great weather. Thanks for the great pictures. keep us posted on tonight’s results.

My hand towels are in the washer and the ONLY reason I’m up this early is to go to Fleet Farm and get a new reel and some line!

New reel filled with Masterbraid and dry towels on board and it was off to the river again last night.

Compared to Friday, Saturday was uneventful.

Fishing was a bit slower with just 7 fish brought to the boat although two of them were in the 50’s.

Nice meeting you Ray. Make sure you send back some of the photo’ of your carbon mounted sturgeon!

Looks like you guys had another great night of Sturgeon fishing. It isn’t to often when we get 80 deg. days and 50 deg. nights in Oct.
It looks like you have Ray hooked on Sturgeon fishing. Thanks for the pictures and the report.

Yeah, you’ve got me hooked on sturgeon fishing too and I’ve never even caught a lake sturgeon. I’m one of Ray’s other brothers. There are five brothers in our family and four sisters. This will be big news in our family. I’m really glad you guys did so well.

Ray picked a couple fantastic nights as far as weather goes and the St Croix has some awesome scenery views this time of year.

Once a person feels the power of a sturgeon pulling your rod tip into the water and just not stopping, well there just isn’t much else like it!

The St Croix has some pretty good scenery in July and August, too, if you catch my drift.

Roger that, homeslice. I was a sturgeon-virgin until a few weeks ago. What a rush.
