One more guided trip for me and it’s boat clean out and up for me.

Sounds like it might be the last nice weekend for a while.

Then again, I keep seeing all those P4 channel cats swimming around in the YouTube videos…

With any luck, I should get a few more trips in.

Let me know if you need a seat warmer Ryan.

That may not have come out right either.

Like to get out a time or two yet, wife’s not much for river fishing so who knows..

I have a need to go find crappies on the river..I know they are there…..somewhere, hiding next to the walleyes, somewhere..:)

So, who is in more danger, me or the pup?

I’m thinking we all need a little more boat time.

    Maybe alone.

We checked a 5 hook trotline this afternoon and had a couple small channels on. The northens are also hitting the lines but turned them back. Both the northerns and smallies are hitting really well on rocky shorlines too. We think it will last for the next couple weeks, then after that it will be crappies and northerns in the deep water with snags befor ice comes. I don’t have the time but if a guy threw against the shoreline with big plugs or spinners 6″ or bigger I think he’d get some of the nicer northerns, theres never enough time, sometimes.

    Might depend on the day.
