    Thought i share a little video from channel cat fishing at Mom’s pond over Labor Day weekend. Nice setup they have down there in central IL.

    Nice video Shawn. I also watched your video of the 37 lb. flathead your friend caught on the Fox river in IL. That was a great flathead. Thanks

    I had a little fun with that, and edited out my futile effort to free my snagged line under the dock. The overnight bait was a baby gill, but I tried same thing Sunday night with same result, only cat found a snag near the middle of the pond in several feet of water right near one of my hot spots – coincidence? I think not…

    While I enjoy flatheading most, fishing those channel cats with dip baits takes me back…still a great way to fish when you’re just having fun!
