2 hr try at cattin

    i hit the river last night around 6 ish to try my hand at some channel cats till dark first spot was a swing and a miss not one bite so i moved to a lil bit faster moving water and it didnt take 2 min and the st croix rod tip started jiggling and with a swift sweep of the rod i could tell right away this wasnt no normal channel cat after a few seconds of fighting the fish it made a mad dash for the sky from about 30 fow to a few feet out of the water sure enough sturgeon after a a few min battle if i remember right my step brother said somthing like “its like watching river monsters in person” and moments later the fish was in the net snapped a few pics and she was put back in the water for a few min to get her strength back and off she went

    Awesome fish!!!

    Nice to meet you last night, we only lasted about 10 minutes after you left, those mosquitoes were HORRIBLE!!!!
