    Friday-Fishing
    Saturday-Fishing
    Sunday- ummm fishing

Unless the predicted thunderstorms arrive. Then I’ll be listening to the fishing stories on the hill at Everts.

    If I’m allowed.

Which reminds me…I better get my bait tank cleaned out. 300 bullies coming in tomorrow.

Yes, some will be up to 10 inches!

    Good luck Kev and buddy…

Mal and I will be out on the Croix again; might have to try some new spots though. Fishing hasn’t been as productive as it could be lately.

Heading to see my son in Grand Forks, but hoping to get some time to harass the cats in the Red River. Any suggestions will be appreciated.

Fishin’ a small lake that has no acess, or “fish” in west central Minnesota. It won’t be any fun, but the waters need to be stirred

    Two Kegs?

If I were living in Morton, I would have them on wheels, fishing the Minnesota River and toting them around like a bait cooler!

I might get out on lake Mendota. I went to pool 9 last weekend to fish for bait with a friend. I should have talked him into fishing for some whoppers. All this humidity and heat generally make for good fishing here. I hate weather reports that say 20-40 percent chance of storms. I think weather weenies that can’t tell you if it is going to storm or not should be hung from the nearest radar dome.

Putting new control cables in the boat Friday, youngest Daughters 14th birthday Saturday, then off to chase after channels on the Zumbro Sunday! (but I’ll admit the two kegs does sound fun)

We shall see. It’s hump day and everything is still up in the air for me. I have my daughter, but she’s 17 and normally has “other plans”. I had and offer to camp out overnight and do some fishing for Mr. Whiskers. I also committed to watching about 5 dogs so the girlfriend and her friend can go to St. Cloud.

Now today I usually go see the daughter too. After all this rain, I am thinking about visiting a certain creek that dumps into the Mississippi. Hopefully the fish are there waiting on easy meals. Plus, the daughter and I can sit there and chat and maybe catch a cool breeze off the water.

Wife has a new motorcycle, has not ridden before so this weekend Mrs. mid life crisis is going to learn how to ride it.

It was mentioned that me being in close contact just in case was desired…so I’ll be around the house this weekend.

Unless Pug drags me off to some spot close by for a bit of shore fishing..:)

But what if you wanted to head back to the truck and try the Crow, Old Mother or the ‘Croix? Dude, you’d have to pour your beer out at the landing or face hundreds of dollars in fines for potentially transporting invasive-infected beer between bodies of water!

    Fri – working/kidwatching
Sat – Fishing with BK in the evening (barring static electricity attacks)
    Sun – No idea yet.

I haven’t gotten out fishing in almost 3 weeks now.

The plans are all over the place today. No dog watching and I am not sure what the daughter is doing. I have to straighten things out here so I know what the heck I am doing.

During the past several weeks/days I’ve been out of town or working from Dark AM to Dark PM and havent wet a line for cats for an unhealthy amount of days! Needless to say, I would like to spend more hours in my boat then on shore for duration of the weekend.

I must be lucky or something… Between having a new(to me) boat, a wife that hates shore fishing, and a wife that doesn’t like to be out late during the week (still the same wife), we’re on the river almost every weekend.

About the whole weather situation, a 40% chance of showers means that we’re more likely to stay dry than we are to get wet. I’ll take those odds .
