    Hello,

Was fishing with one of my buddies last night and we both weren’t haveing to much luck we both did manage a tiny flathead (3-4lbs) and both had a good run but the fish dropped the bullhead. My buddy desided to cast a bullhead into this shallow logjam and got bit right away, fought the fish for a minute or two and when he got it closer we both were kinda amazed and disapointed cause it was a sheephead and not even that big but it took big fish honors for the night at probably around 5 to 6 lbs. Its the first sheephead I’ve seen caught on a bullhead and a fat 7in bullhead at that.
    Just thought I would share.

    Take care everyone!

Sheephead are like garbage disposals they will eat anything. Thats probably why they smell so bad.

That’s actually pretty cool. I don’t like catching sheephead as much as the next guy, but what is cool about fishing is that you never know what you are going to see each trip.

Very true. Last summer I had a great run and 10 minute fight to find a huge carp had taken my cut bait. It was really fun getting him in.
