    …knitting in your cat boat?

Although my Favorite Wife doesn’t knit or darn socks for that matter, is it allowable to let others knit while cat fishing?

I know it’s dark out so other likely wouldn’t see and we want to get our spouses out on the water…but for some reason cat fishing and knitting just don’t seem to go hand in hand.

    Your thoughts?

    Photo’s to follow tonight.

Well, there’s already plenty of yarns in your boat…

Knitters are like anglers addicted to a passion. My wife is a knitter, knits all the time….in the boat, passenger in the car, at the movies, waiting room in the doctors office…anytime anywhere. I have trouble changing lures during the day let alone after dark! Knitters do not stop in the dark. Never ask a knitter to stop or not allow them to knit in a cat boat…..knitting needles can be weapons!

BK, leave your needles and yarn at home if you plan on coming in my boat…….

    In fact…. I won’t even allow a cat in my boat …..

I am sure it would not be the worst activity to go on in your boat.

On a side note, while at the DMV I saw a young girl knitting and she could knit me whatever she wanted, if you catch my drift sock.

I think the bugs will solve the problem for you. Blood suckers are suddenly out all the time, not to mention the clouds of gnats when they show up.

We had THREE Thermocells going along with bug dope. The flying horses had saddles on them! I’m still itching!

Knitting while cat fishing? I guess!

Maybe if she could knit with baleing twine it would pass for a sack for life jackets etc. or anything taken back and forth from a boat to auto, That would be kinda cool.

Hey BK, my wife had a blast in your boat and is now psyched about catfishing because she can knit and chat while waiting for a bite. Since the whole night was basically about her, knitting in the boat was inevitable.

And as long as people are enjoying themselves in my boat I don’t care if they knit, crochet, tat, embroider, or cross-stitch in my boat… so long as they’re not playing on a PSP I really don’t care.

…and that is the bottom line!

She’s a good sport too. I would never have been harassing her about this if she wouldn’t have given me the nod.

Now I’ll just have to give her direction for a nose warmer. I know how cold you get in the fall.

Dude, the only part of me that wasn’t actually cold last fall WAS my nose. It was the rest of me that ended up in a hypothermic hangover for 3 days.

Actually the knitting occurred in BK’s boat, not mine. Although knitting HAS occurred in my boat in the past, so I can say that, undoubtedly, knitting is good for the fishing… or at least good for the family while I do my fishing.

Jarred, Mallory was the young lady that brought along the hand sanitizer…which was the other “first”.

I’m a little worried what’s going to be the next.

Probably toe nail polish which might not be too bad if you got a foot fetish.

There is downside of being a cat guide. The next thing won’t be a client’s GF putting on a bikini because she is more interested in a good tan.
