Rainy River

    Heading to the Rainy River Tuesday to open the summer sturgeon fishing season. I can hardly wait to get there. Does anybody know how high the river is there? Are they having the same problems with high water we are and if so, how does that effect the fishing?

    We have never fished the Rainy this early in the summer so do not know what to expect.

    Hi Northstar,

    Haven’t been down on the river since April, but with the lake still being a bit low I’m sure it isn’t high.
