But as I was reminded just recently…”that’s what rain gear is for”. 
Another hour and I’m outta here…I have cherry pie wait for me at Everts. Last I heard anyway.

Hope everyone is ok down there, it was a bit more than rain here and looked even worse your way! 
We got a LOT of rain up here… I drove thru the parking lot at Fleet Farm in Brooklyn Park and ended up driving thru a 3-4′ deep river flowing into their storm drain… no joke.
I’m happy to have not been on the water tonight, but I did get to put my rain gear thru it’s paces and, I have to say, that’s definitely what rain gear is for! Here’s to hoping we have better weather tomorrow!
Never made it out of the Bluff’s. I mean really. If a guy can’t be on the water, might as well be stuck at a bar with a fish buffet and good company huh?
Lots of twigs on the ground as I drove into Everts. I didn’t see any branches down.

It looks like we got a dilluted version. A front came through right about at midnight. Lots of wind. Caught a little one right before the wind.
Even at a day old, those cookies were FANTASTIC!
I held back on the Cherry Pie…Thanks you know who!
