    Yes he did….that big ol paddle darn near spooled T. They are back out chasing them today.

    Has Madison Lake MN held their Paddlefish Days yet?
    Might want to forward that photo down to the Lakesports Bait shop there. Any way we can get Pop to reveal a hint about the waters you fished?

    South Dakota, Missouri or Nebraska have a snagging season on them.

    Nothing in MN or WI.

    They swim around with their mouth open and the vertical jiggers snag them fairly frequently.

    My boat hooked into two last year. Since I’m fishing on the bottom, I can only guess they became tangled in the line.

    Missouri River below the dam at Yankton is probably your closest bet to target these fish. However, it’s a kill type scenario most likely as you are snagging them with fairly large gear. Although my walleye buddies get a bunch down there every spring snagging them in the snout accidentally.

    Lake sports closed. It’s under new owners. The oldones went bankrupt.
