Clive finally got permission to break his curphew to try his hand at some flathead fishin. He reports a good nite out.A monster got off at boatside but at least got to see it.A variety of bait was used, including bullheads, suckers, and crawlers.Clive says crawlers are always a good option if the bite is off a bit,at least for him anyway.

Clive& his sister also got out during the daylight hours for some nice channels and a couple stripers found their way to the boat as well.

Thanks for the update Clive and I hope Mom & Dad let you break curphew again soon!

Looks like a fun time! Get them addicted early on the good stuff…Fishing!

Looking at those faces, Clive looks like a character! He hang around ‘you know who’ too much down there at Everts?

I knew I should have tried catching those fish popping the surface when Brian and I came in a 3am.

The facial expressions are right on the money Clive…but you still need to have the ol’ thumbs up!

I’m going out Fri, Sat and Sunday. Could you pm me with a couple locations? Please?

    Man I wish I was that good…

No, seriously, I wish I could do as good as that little kid. Makes a big, scary guy feel a bit sheepish, don’t it?

LOL, that might be my favorite picture of the bunch. I was going to ask if he had him out there at 3am.

My favorite too! But do the math, weight of that fish per Clives body weight….bet it is close to 30% or so. That is alot of work for Clive!

Lets see, 30% of BK’s body weight= new world record flathead!

I was thinking the same thing:

The weight of the fish being hoisted + number of hours fished x the level of excitement =
    1 wore out kid
