The weather pretty much went around the Metro area.

But with the radar looking like it did, it would have been a perfect night for bank fishing.

Crawler flat! Fished all day until 10 pm. The weather was very nice and neat to see out on the river.

i was out last night on pool 3 trolling crank baits. hit the water about 5 went south of prescott and hit a few wing dams, nothing. went back up and did some trolling in the no wake zone. picked up a 17.5″, 20″ and a 24.5″ (pictured) in about 45 min. then the lightning started and that was all she wrote.

P.S. if you are out fishing your brother 3 to 0 don’t ask him to take a picture for you.

Since this thread is in the catfish forum, does this qualify as a cat fight.

What on earth is that disgusting scaly thing doing in the catfish/sturgeon forum? Dear God in heaven they’re gross. And they don’t even have whiskers!! I can hardly bear to look at it!

You walleye guys… you think your fish is all that and that everyone wants to look at pictures of them. What you don’t realize is that the fish you’re holding in that picture would make a nice meal for the flathead I caught a couple nights ago on Pool 2. GULP. All gone.

Yes it is that is Hengelaar from The Netherlands with his first Flathead. He bumped his lifelist up 19 species this month. Also got 3 Greater Redhorse, Brook Tout and a Sturgeon.

This spot typically will produce one flat for every 8 trips and normally around a pound. We were targeting redhorse with crawlers on the bottom. Once in a while we get a small sturgeon also. Just a bonus fish when we catch a flat.
