You may try to imitate the man in that photo by catching a fish as large as he, but I’m pretty sure that even Chuck Norris isn’t that tough.

I heard that Mark took fishing lessons from Norris.

Most think that fish was caught on hook and line. The real truth is Johnson dove in, fought the fish until it tired, brought it up and jumped in the boat while still holding the sturgeon to have his photo taken.

That was Johnson’s 6th and smallest fish caught in 15 minutes.

Forgot to mention that the boat motor wasn’t working and Johnson towed it with towing line in his teeth out to 4 mile Gap and back.

So we should all plan on bad cold-wearing conditions and packing along our IceArmor and some sort of heating system.

Oh and don’t forget extra heavy anchors to prevent drifting in the gale-force winds that are now likely to happen.

Reservation made. Finally get the cabin I want instead of whatever’s left over.

AND I have a boat to haul up this year.

    It’s gonna be a B. L. A. S. T!

Just curious all that’s left for the two of us are the lodge rooms, they have the same features as a small cabin or just a bed and bath?

You might want to check with Colleen Al, the ones I’ve been in had 2 beds and a bathroom.

Thanks got this back from her.

“Each of our rooms has its own bathroom. There are no cooking facilities, not even a coffee maker in the rooms – no phones either. You might find a photo or two of Room 17 on our website. Just go to lodging and click on any name of a room or cabin. We do have a full restaurant on site.

The cabin that two can rent is booked up, so the wife and I are looking for anybody else in the same boat, looking for someone to share a larger cabin with.
They say they’ll rent the 3 and 4 bedroon units to 4 or more.

We’re a bit slower than we used to be, so maybe someone who doesn’t party all night would be nice…:)

If interested please PM me, thanks.

I spoke with JP at The Wigwam…

Friday evening is the famous Shore Lunch Buffet.

This year on Saturday evening we’re doing something a bit different. Wigwam is using the regular menu and you’ll be able to order up until 10 pm.

We felt this would work out better for the people that wanted to fish later in the day on Saturday.

Brian at Adrian’s is working on the “Crawler Special” again for this spring.

Too early to publish prices, but if you recall last year they were crazy low. Pre ordering and payment is a must.

Is it to early to be thinking about April?

In July, I’m thinking about January. In December and January, I’m thinking about April. In April, I’m thinking about the first weekend in June.

I guess it’s kind of like nudie magazines. You have what you need right now, but always want what you can’t have.

    Wiggies cabins are filled.

They have lodge rooms…or Adrian our back up resort will have cabins.

Don’t forget to get your flat of crawlers at Adrians. Brian’s planning on having some drop dead prices again this year. (too early to know the actual cost yet)

I was told I have a place to stay if I decided to go. Not sure this event can handle the Pug.
