Its mid may here in NY and was wondering what would be your signal to start bullheadin’? water temp, moon, date? I found 2 areas on the river very near my house that look real good. One is a culvert pipe with a deep hole in front of it, only way to get there is through a little cut in the shoreline. behind the pipe on the other side is a big swampy area that I see people fishing from shore. The other area is a long hard to get to canal with alot of mud and trees very outa the way… I can the boat to either one of these spots quick in the evenings…
    Thanks for any help!

Some say when the Lilacs bloom.
Some say when the water hits 60 deg.
Some say when the water levels allow
Some say when the hours of day are more than the night.

I say get out when ever you can, because bullies can’t be caught on the couch.
Sounds like it might be time.

we got a warm up starting today so I think its time… better than the couch…
I’ll add a back up question… Of course the basic worm and sinker deal works but how about some gulp Alive leechs? I got a bucket of those… worthy of a try?
    thanks for the info

I’ve heard that they look, feel, and act pretty realistic.
I’d give it a shot. Take the crawlers with you in case.
    Good luck.
