We didn’t want to keep her out of the water any longer than we had to so we didn’t get a weight.

No girth measurement either. She was 59-1/2″ long and quite fat.

Anyone care to guess how much she might have weighed?

    I had a 55.5″ that weighed 33#. So I would venture a guess around 40#.

Just for the heck of it, I took a digital bathroom scale with me this year. I have to say it worked pretty darn slick.

You have to do a little math, and it isn’t much fun to look at the first weight

But I did find out that a 50” fish weighed 23.7 pounds without hanging it on a hook or messing around with a net.

Deb’s 54 came in at 34 pounds without the net.

the DNR chart from lotw shows an average 59″ fish from mid-40’s to mid 50’s pounds.
    Very Nice.
