This was the FW’s trip. She caught all the sturgeon, walleyes, bullheads and Rock Bass.

Here are a few of ours. Largest was a 67 x 25 I got on Saturday. As usual, great trip, great people, and fantastic fish

Numbers were low, but quality made up for it. If my counts are right, we had 17 fish over 3 days, with 6 over 50″ and the one at 67″. Fish all seemed to bite very light so holding your rod was critical, and best times were mid day.

We tried to fish away from people every day, and seemed to do very well away from the crowds.

We had a good time also. New guy got a 43″, Barney got a 48″, I ended up with a 52″ for the big fish for us and a monster sucker.
Thanks to BK, Wigwam and Lakemaster for the gift certificate I won.

We had a great time as always. 18 fish for our boat in 3 days, a little slower then normal but some good quality fish more then made up for the numbers of little one. My buddy Billy got to dance with a fat 63 incher and then boated one without a tail, strange! Dan is going to have to post the photos off his camera, I can’t

    Great to see everyone

Our biggest was 55.5″. Fishing with me was Dan “Sauger” Miller and Nick “Z” Zarbo. Had a blast guys! I know Sauger has more pics to add!

OK, let’s try this again. The first time I posted here it disappeared ?

It was slow for us this year as others have reported. This was my nephew Andy’s first trip and his first Sturgeon, 52 inches. It had him around the end of the boat four tiumes doing the Sturgeon Dance but Andy fought him like a pro and landed this beauty in about 5 minutes.

I had my brother in my boat with my wife and son Dan. Paul boated a 65″ on Thursday. 2nd fish to the boat. And lost a nice one Friday and caught another 61″er on Sat. I caught a 10″er…..Is that worth anything?

Our second trip up this year was a little slow but I think the kids had lots of fun. They got to miss a day of school to boot so that helped with the lack of sturgeon caught. Here are a few photos.

We arrived Thursday afternoon, picked up our crawlers at Adrians and fished for few hours out in front of Adrians. Caught a couple of small fish by Adrians. Friday we fished out in front of Wigwam and had fun catching 12 fish. Saturday we launched up river out of clementson. Fished the whole day up there and only caught 4 fish. Our tally for the weekend was one 60, 5 over 50, with some 40s and a couple of 30s. We had a great time and the weather was outstanding. Already looking forward to the ’11 Sturgeon Excursion. Thanks to all who helped put this together!

Well, the FW doesn’t like to hold fish…however, she knows when she will be mad at herself for not getting a photo of one. This was one of those times. She was talking herself into this all the way up to Lake of the Woods.

Then came the moment of truth.

Here’s her story of her first Lake Sturgeon over 50 inches. She tells it best.

I snapped off one good photo before she lost it. But that’s all I needed!

There was another lady in my boat that didn’t want her name mentioned. Said she had a reputation to keep….

You’re lucky she loves you, airing that sort of footage could result in detesticulation in some households.

I would estimate more around the 150 lb mark but you know how Jon and Scott tend to exaggerate
Slimmest guy in the boat last weekend
