Just curious if anyone has been out to try for any flats yet. If not when do you typically start? Nice weather keeps me thinking it is later in the season than it really is. But seems everything is 2 weeks ahead of schedule anyways.
I’ve picked up 2 so far this year on jigs and ringworms, but haven’t gone after them with the big pole yet. I’m thinking they should be running pretty soon, although it is only April. I think that when the water gets around 63 degrees is the magic mark. But two weeks should be a go, fingers crossed.

A nice 45lber was entered in the KOTC contest last night, along with several others over the past few days.
Well, that’s great news! Thanks Dtro for the update. Looks like I may have to head to the bait pond after work and pick up some lunch for the flatheads! 
Time to get the gear out and see what happens!
