    Russ,
I am pretty sure that during the time of the Excursion, Walleye season is closed so that would not work out for having a Walleye prize.

    * Two sets of Folbe Advantage Rod Holders From Folbe Inc

The Advantage Rod Holder is the finest built rod holder on the market. The innovative design allows the angler to lift the rod straight up in one fluid motion without any disruption to the line or interference from the holder. By design, the rod holder is intended to be used in the unlocked position. The innovative construction of the holder does not allow the holder to open until the rod is pulled up in an even manner. This allows the holder to unbind and lift up out of a cup and rotate out over a cam.

The Advantage Rod Holder is made of marine grade plastics to ensure years of trouble free use.

Depending on space, as well as where and how you mount the rod holder, it can be adjusted horizontally 360° in 12 separate steps at 30° each. Vertically, the rod holder can be adjusted up to 180° in 8 separate intervals at 22.5° each.

    Includes F060 Pedestal Mount Base.

    * Clamshell design holds your fishing rod secure and releases it extremely quick and smooth.

    * Advantage Rod Holder will hold rods with handles up to 1 1/2” diameter.

    * Cutouts in the holder accepts rods with finger grips.

    * Positively locks your gear in when needed, quick and easy with our push-pull locking knob.

    * Positive locking bases means no movement what so ever. Our bases accept many other manufactures gear as well.

    * Made of non corrosive materials for years of reliable use.

    * Made of Fiber-reinforced materials so its virtually impossible to break.

    * Virtually eliminates any struggle to release your rod from the holder.

    * Built around Bait cast reels, when using a spin cast design we recommend locking it

I spoke with JP from Wigwam the other day. They had a cancellation for a cabin.

Adrian’s has plenty of room at this time.

If you haven’t tried Sturgeon fishing before, this is a great time to give it a go. Plenty of experts to help you get on what will likely be the largest fresh water fish to be on the end of your rod.

This is truly dancing with the stars!

    Another entry!

    From the guys at Marcum!

An all NEW feature laden black and white underwater viewing system called the VS380. It features a durable 7-inch CRT monitor matched to an all new Manta camera design. The new Manta camera utilizes Darkwater™ technology, which greatly reduces particulate reflection and increases viewing distance. The super high intensity LED’s are mounted above the camera lens therefore eliminating the snow storm effect experienced in other viewing systems. The Sony Super HAD CCD camera and super bright LED’s make no fish unseen. The NEW VS380 allows the user to control the intensity of the underwater lights, adjust screen contrast & brightness, use two underwater camera’s and switch between the two (second camera optional) and offers a video output jack for recording. You couldn’t ask for more—and all at a phenomenal price! MarCum is One Step Ahead and packing a serious punch even in the lower priced systems.

Who will be the lucky winner this year?!

For Clarification for some concerned out there:
So if people ended up booking a room/cabin else where because the listed above places were booked…. are they ineligible to participate??? Or can they head over to Wigwams and Sign up stating that they are with the IDO group?

Of Course we do want to continue supporting our Sponsors…. This Excursion is getting so popular… These resorts might need to consider building more cabins or bringing in some trailers for this event if it keeps up at the rate it’s been going.

I know this will be my fourth season… I remember my first year there were still vacancies at the WAM… right up till the week prior to the event. Now with Adrian’s added and both places book up so quick its amazing how this has grown.

If anyone is even remotely considering this, it is one of the best events to kick off open water big fish season.

The last time (about a week ago) they had quite a few cabins available. ‘spose I should check again.

    Thanks for the heads up.
