I can’t believe it. A few weeks ago I asked you for some advice on pool 3 catfish. Today I headed out to pitch jigs to some wing dams. In search for walleyes? Oh no, I was catching bait, some drum and maybe some suckers. Then off to some log jams to throw the cut bait around. Biggest fish today was a 33 inch flathead. I think it’s too late to help me get back to my walleye roots!

I’m afraid of the same affliction. Once infected I don’t see any way back. There’s no 12 step program.

It’s really sad, I have the same problem. Want some giant pumpkin seeds?

Again with the gloves! I was alone and didn’t get a picture. But yes I handled all the cats by the mouth with NO gloves. Proud of me aren’t you guys!

You’ll know if you are hooked when you’re sitting on the ice thinking of where to go fish channel cats until next spring.
