Sturgeon tip thread

    I think I have caught all my sturgeon accept 1 in about 30′ of water. The other cam in about 70′

    I believe StCroixer and I may challenge the depths again this year. The challenge with fishing 70′ of water is detecting a bite. I believe we were reeling up for the night and I realized about half way up I had one on.

    More than depth I would be concerned with marking bait and fish. Broad armored fish make pretty nice arcs on a graph.

    Yea I was thinking if I got Jennie and Maggie in the boat at least I would get to net a bunch of sturgeon

    I am looking forward to it this year. Sounds like we are going to get a cool snap in the weather, maybe that will help the bite pick up earlier this year
