It is so odd to have beautiful conditions here and the bite doesn’t cooperate. I had my good friend Kevin (Netman) and his son tagged along on Friday. They are bass men by nature. We couldn’t buy a bite and again a key move was what saved us. Cole got a 6lber early and then dad showed him on this 27(estimate)incher. Water temps were near 70 degrees down from nearly 80. This has been the oddest water temps in memory.

I don’t know about the conversion so much. I know Cole has found puppy love so he is probably useless for the next 15 years or so. Bass guy has to be constantly messing with stuff to be happy and “are we there yet” is too often uttered. If the weather ever settles down the water temps, a bite is going to happen here like never before. I usually have males now competing with the females for dinner makes them more aggressive. They haven’t shown yet this year but I hope to see them next weekend.

Converted from bottom feeders to scaly fish. What can i say other than topwater and jumping get’s the heart pumping instead of sit and wait, and wait, then move and wait then fish on.
