With the given measurements, still a ways to go to hit that magical 70lb mark.
I would guess that the 34” girth is maxed out on that fish until it gets a little taller. Even at 52” that is a big girth and that’s about what it would take….52×34
I would love to see that fish again in 7-10yrs. Definite record potential and like Steve said while it may not be the longest, with that 34” girth it is the heaviest fish I’ve seen in a long time come from these parts.
In comparison terms, you can relate catching that fish to a
15lb walleye
or
50lb Musky
or
4.5lb Crappie
In other words a very rare fish!
