It’s Chris Winchester! Well, it’s the 37 pound flatty that was pooping all over Chris and my boat!

What’s a little scary is that both Chris and I commented on how good it smelled! Welcome perfume after a long winter! …even if his shirt was covered with it.

After watching the bullies swim for far too long, this guy figured it’s time to eat.

I on the other hand like keeping my shirt clean.

The 12+ pound channel on the right fell to a good size bullhead and when the channel was coming out of the Beckman the tinie weenie flathead set off the alarms on the other side of the boat!!

Chris it was fantasismic to fish with you again!

When I first read your header I thought someone forgot their Right Guard or they found a dead mouse in their boat. Then as the page was loading I saw it was in the catfish forum and I knew that it was about uncle stinkeys catfish bait or someone caught some fish.

    Catfish smell=dead mouse smell….

    Confratulations Chris

The threads seem to be starting to buzz. It’s about time for me to throw out a bully. Can you ship me some poop for good luck. And to be clear, the flathead poop, preferably dried in the sun so I can make a necklace of it.

    Nice fish!

I’m trying to keep up my reputation Jessy.

I was half sleeping when I type this out this morning.

That photo of the channel doesn’t do it justice. It barly looks like a five pound fish. Chris guessed it at 12 and he was pretty darn close! 12.15 on the digital.

The channel was also the interesting bite of the night. Wham! Takes out about a foot of line and that’s it. Done. Bullheads still swimming. After watching the rod for a minute or so with nothing happening, I was wondering out loud if it was a gar the hit it. We saw a little gar swimming around, but I couldn’t recall a gar ever hitting a bully.

We were still sitting there speculating when the second hit came and that left no doubt in our mind a fish was on.

Score one for Team Catfish’s 8/0 Double Action hooks with a bullhead!

As for the little guy…all the while I was reeling him in I was saying to myself…Righty tighty, lefty losey.

Pug, you’ll have to come up with some cash. Just can’t get this stuff at the corner drug store you know.

Just in from cleaning out the boat.

The 37 had to weight 35 when it was released.

Jeff, Sunday the 7th is the last day I have open in June.

How much is it an ounce. I am on a budget. I can only spend so much a month on poo.

Credit is nice. It’s the interest that worries me.

Hey, that’s kind of a good unintentional joke. Not bad for 3 hours sleep.

You’ll do just fine. One day you will be so good, you’ll be bathing in cats.

Leave’em dressed. They aren’t that sharp when they are big and then you can say a catfish poked you in the bathtub and people will look at you funny.

I’m not buying it…not for a minute. There is a picture of a crazy guy in a tub with a bunch of cats on here somewhere?

That’s almost perfect except you forgot to use the words “stink”, “rotten” or “liver”
