Stupid Day, why won’t you end all ready

We are leaving tomorrow morning to miss the TC traffic, and get some time on the water Thursday. Looking forward to seeing old friends, meeting new friends, and putting the smack down on some dinosaurs

    Is it time yet?

What time you leaving your place and what route you taking? I have to drop off kids at 7AM, hope to be on the road around 8AM. If it’s close, we’d probably try to hook up and follow you. I live in Otsego(right by Monticello).

Not sure which route we will take, problably 35E through TC, and from there, it is always a crap shoot. We are planning to leave SE MN about 7:30, hoping to get past the Cities without traffic.

What is the best route to get there, we have gone many different ways in the past, none any better or worse then the others. Heck one year I was driving on Auto pilot, almost made it to Internation Falls before the light bulb went on That was not the route to take I really wanted to stop at the Sawmill in Virginia for one

I live in the NW suburbs so for us the quickest and shortest route is 10 north to 64 north. We do a bit of jogging in the Cass Lake area, but for the most part we are traveling straight north from my place.

We went through Grand Rapids a couple years ago so Jeff could visit family on along the way. That route is about 30 minutes longer per mapquest.

Like you said, no good route. One thing about all these stinkin lakes, no straight roads in this state.

I am hoping to see Bowman catch one longer then him, but I guess 46″ is not all that big

It’s all the regulars, except the big chief can’t make it this year. Some of Bob’s crew will also be new to me, but I guess they were there last year. Zillman and I in our boat. Unless I can get my opener partner to let Sharon out of the house. I’m sure cabin 10 will be full of life as usual. I’m sure there will be no shortage of lies told and stories crafted at this event.

Larry, U suck!! Good luck tonight!!

Thanks for keeping the economy on the up swing while the rest of us are playing. I’m sure I’ll return the favor sometime.
