61 inches. The one and only sturgeon I caught while up there. We still had a blast though!

Here’s my new PB, 55 inches. Caught last Sunday just when we were going to leave. Of course that meant we had to stay a while longer! Definitely looking forward to next year. Now my brother (Rootski) has something to shoot for!

Did you know you were fishing in canadian waters when you caught that fish?

Were you in the boat with them? Or take that picture? That’s a pretty big leap to make from a photo?

Have I mentioned I love my LakeMaster LOTW’s/Rainy chip?

If a person believes that the river is split 50/50, Sturgeonator is correct…however, looking at the somewhat legal picture from LakeMaster it’s easy to see that he could be well withing the US boundry.

Of course this is from my limited experiance of that area.

Nice fish Jake! Who was in the boat with you?

Just checked my GPS which has the Navionics LOW+ 2k chip in it and from what BK posted above… that fish was caugth in US waters. By putting the two chips side by side I noticed there are differances, but still on both it shows my waypoint on this side of the red line.

Mike V from Joes sporting goods. I think I need to get a suit like his. I have heard way too many good things about them to ignore.

The FW wanted my SnoSuit…I told her to get her own!

Most of the time I didn’t need the jacket, just the bibs kept me roasty toasty.

Again, congrats on the awesome US fish!

It was a dark, frigid night on pool 4 with this amazingly skilled and personable guide named Burger King (odd name, yeah). We had a blast, froze so bad I had a “cold hangover” the next day (did you know you get hypoglycemic from hypothermia??) and caught a bunch of nice fish. We left at 4PM on Saturday and I finally got go bed about 6:30AM Sunday morning.

And I’d do it all again in a heartbeat…

Scary Jeff and a shovelnose just under 5# & 36″. Oh so close to the record!

Just a tad smaller than our other shovelnose from that night
