I don’t see any Unagi, Saba or Uni. That isn’t my plate.

For those out of the know
Uni = sea urchin. And you thought raw oysters were like eating snot.
Saba = Mackerel Probably the fishiest tasting sushi you could eat.
Unagi = Well, this one might actually make good cutbait. Fresh water eel.

Uni is on the lower right center
    Unagi is top center
No Saba – not my favorite

Not many people like Saba. I normally love it, but it has to be extremely fresh. I had it one time where it was not so good. For saba, the flesh should still be quivering.

    That make me quiver

Fry it all up and you might have something

I love me some sushi. It is wise to know the ways of your prey.

Wouldn’t that mean eating it alive?

    Just asken.

I find that kissing them does the trick. No need to eat a live fish

Now I’m super hungry. If you like sushi, you should try hamachi kama. It’s a yellowtails collar salted and grilled. Wasabi on Washington ave has every good and fresh Uni and saba as well. One of my favorite places to go for good sushi.
