I know we shouldn’t have brought it into the bait shop, but sometimes a person just has to show off their prize catch.

The bait was a soft on the inside, hard on the outside home made peanut butter cookie. The presentation was dragging.

Monsters like this are only caught using a black rod.

This ugly thing was released to keep the ramps open another day.

Seriously, I chose this Beckman net for Sturgeon and Catfishing because of the size of the net bag. It’s large enough that the fish can actually lay flat in the bottom of the bag and not stick out like the smaller bags of other brands.

Beckman as the reputation of being rugged, durable and “last a life time”. If this net can handle the big ugly pictured here…shouldn’t have any problem with a big cat or sturgeon!

Did you club it before you threw it back in the water what kind of bait were you using? I bet it was a corn dog that is the only bait I know of that you can catch 200 pound plus Dorkfish on I am glad to see you guys still manage to have fun down there. I am hoping to be down there this weekend but I cant promise anything.

    Question is…..

Did you kiss it before you released it?

I would have thrown it up on the bank and let it dry out before I let something of that nature released back into the wild.

Did it make those sounds that Sheepshead make when you hold them over your head before gently releasing them?
