    Hello!

Any news from the Ruins? Has the current situation calmed down? I’m thinking the week of warmth and sun we are in for will get things started down there!

Last weekend it was all calm there. Looks like they shut down the flow on the ruins side of the river, so very fishable.

Yep, I went pasted there on Saturday and the lock was closed. I am concerned though that a fishable population might be greatly degraded with the draw down last year and then the whitewater. I am sure there are some in there, but enough to make fishing worthwhile? I guess that remains to be seen.

I gave it a try for a few hours on Saturday….Not a bite. A few others were also down and I never saw a fish.

I’ve never fished there, though I’m sure they will be back.

Channels are not affraid of white water. Most all my larger spring cats have been caught in white water or very close to the edge of it.

I’d normally agree, but it was wall to wall white water. I certainly hope I am wrong and people start getting them up there.

IMO the fishing started to decline well before the draw down. Not sure why but it sure seems to me the numbers have slowly diminished the last few years.

I don’t know….Mill has been a great producer for me most the times I have been there. I hope this white wall doesn’t effect it to much

Fished for a couple of hours Saturday. One bite but lost it in the floating logs that were all over. Lots of debis in there.
