Hey Brian!!! Make sure you save me a spot in here….
Eventually it WILL warm up right
Mary
Managed this Channel while jigging down river. 23 inches.
Mistakingly thought I had a big Sauger.
Who said jig and plastics were only for walleye/saugers?

A couple from last week and one from today. Haven’t gotten a new digital cam yet, so I’ve been using the cell phone cam.
See you there on Saturday Manny.
If I see any other IDOers there
Or maybe I will just with them.
Nice fish Manny. Looking forward to catching up with you and Marcus sometime this year.
Very nice fish Manny! I’d like to wet a line with ya again sometime too!
Here’s one from Sunday.

I’m hoping to throw a few pix on here tomorrow night. I found a few new spots today, I’ll be putting in some hours tomorrow. We’ll see what happens…
Good luck Mate!! let us know how you do.
All great looking spring cats.
I’m hoping to get at least one good pic up soon.
Might call it a short day at the office and get out today.
Did you hear something? Is that the River calling?
OK now the itch just got worse. I can’t wait for the river to go down to safe levels. Nice fish guys.
Here’s a couple from this week end.
17 lb 34 inch caught with fresh cut sucker steak from the gut pocket of an 18 inch sucker on a 10/0 Lazer Kahle hook.
I also used for the first time Team Catfish size 5 sinker slide with a 5oz. bank sinker.
Second fish is a 9 lb 28 inch caught using the same set up.
Also attached to the set up is 65 lb Power pro with a WHITE Berkley big game rod and (you can laugh now) a Rhino RSC 5 spincaster reel.
It was the first time I had used the sinker slides and I think I like them. Not even one tangle with my leader line while using these.
Nice fish there Dave!
Were the sinker slides from TEAM CATFISH possibly?
It was dark…the cats couldn’t see what color rod you were using.
Seriously I like the fact that there’s a PFD in your photo’s. I’m glad you are helping to set the standard in fishing safety.
Nice Fish! Sinker slides are pretty slick. I’ve been using them for a few seasons, and I’m trying to remember a time where they fouled up and can’t at the moment.

Sinker slides are Team Catfish (oops).
PDF is the first thing on when I get in the boat, after all it has my safety lanyard clipped to it and the boat won’t go without it.

The only way to go at night AND it makes your fish bigger!
The picture looks fine. Boy they are healthy this time of year. Apparently there is no shortage of food for them.
caught this fat fella back in January. Im sure he was at least 10lb. his face and whiskers were deformed from old age.
Ben, is that another PB out of your spring honey hole? Congrats on the nice fish, good to see you again after a few quiet weeks.
Actually, Bob, it’s #2 all time for me. But yeah, that’s the spot. Thanks for the chubs.
Nice! I tried finding the spot the other day. I still must not have found it. All I got was nibblers and a sheepshead. That and dirty underwear from a hen turkey that popped up ten feet in front of me and flew across the river.
Sure it is….the first one of the 2003 season.
I kid! Nice way to kick off the season. Don’t waste any time with the little ones.
