    Wife got this one on Sat. out at Bayport. First one this year but not the last…

    Nice fish!

    I would really love to catch a couple through the ice. Sure would be fun.

    Too bad they are out of season and you can’t target them

    Got her by accident. Didn’t know they ate crappie minnows.

    Can’t wait for the fall season.

    Nice pic!

    That’s how I caught my first sturgeon! Steve DeMars and I were out watching his camera. Once we saw the fish heading to our holes was a sturgeon, I lifted my ice rod and ended up setting the hook in the darn thing. My ice rod was never the same!

    Landed her, snapped a photo and off she went.

    A guy never forgets his first time.

    That’s always a fun surprise bringing in something like that you never know what is gonna be at the other end of the line.
