    Sturgeon Fishing Of Course!

    Don’t forget to pre order your crawlers from Bob Moore or Dean at Everts! It was just made clear again, crawlers will be in limited supply in the Baudette area!

    Here’s a loose run down of dinning and other activities going on at Wigwam this year.

    1) Friday night fish fry $14.95 each.

    We provide the walleye (sorry guys, no sturgeon fry! LOL!)

    Menu: walleye, shore lunch potatoes, beans, bread and butter.

    2) Saturday night buffet $13.95

    Menu: beef pot roast, pork roast, parsley potatoes, Malibu blend vegetables,coleslaw, dinner rolls, brownies. Beverages not included with the exception of coffee and water.

    4) Breakfast

    There will be breakfast specials and early hours.

    5) Drink ticket

    “free drink” ticket (one per person) will be included in welcome packet with pre-paid meal tickets for fish fry and buffet.

    Note: Wigwam will be sending out a letter to all reservations that they must pre-pay for their evening meals. This will have a deadline of at least one month out so we have an accurate count for purchasing food supplies.

    You forgot to mention the speech classes that Francis gives! Anybody who wants to learn jibberish should be in the bar about 10 pm Friday night. And then my wife (If she’s able to make it) will be giving BrianK shot lessons. She’s pretty good at it as’nt she BK?

    * Marcum just added a VS-380 underwater camera to the line up at Wigwam!

    Introducing the latest creation from MarCum Technologies. An all NEW feature laden black and white underwater viewing system called the VS380. It features a durable 7-inch CRT monitor matched to an all new Manta camera design. The new Manta camera utilizes Darkwater™ technology, which greatly reduces particulate reflection and increases viewing distance. The super high intensity LED’s are mounted above the camera lens therefore eliminating the snow storm effect experienced in other viewing systems. The Sony Super HAD CCD camera and super bright LED’s make no fish unseen. The NEW VS380 allows the user to control the intensity of the underwater lights, adjust screen contrast & brightness, use two underwater camera’s and switch between the two (second camera optional) and offers a video output jack for recording. You couldn’t ask for more—and all at a phenomenal price! MarCum is One Step Ahead and packing a serious punch even in the lower priced systems.

    Here’s a couple snapshots from 50 to 60 feet of water.

    There’s only three affordable underwater cameras on the market that can show a fish as clear as these pictures at those depths.

    The Marcum VS-380, VS-820 and the VS825c.

    Cute shovelnoses huh?

    Hey Briank,
    I’m new here & wanted to say hi. I am the coming up to the sturgeon excursion this year, talked to my nephew about it and he says its a blast. You might know him, they call him “KOOTY”… I’m the mngr in a large sporting goods store in Pierre, SD, called Dakotamart. I am going to bring you some more raffle prizes, a Rapala soft-side cooler/tacklebox, a 4-pc Rapala pint glass set, and a couple pair of Quantum fishing glasses. I might even have some extra hats along. I’m really looking forward to doing this, I like catching BIG fish. I got a room in the main lodge reserved and I’ll be bringing a couple other guys with.

    Welcome! And if you wanna catch BIG fish..you might want to re-think your partner arrangements!

    Kooty rarely makes it onto the water…no matter how much he brags back home!

    Sometime you’ll have to tell us about your display name.

    They call him many other things too!

    Glad you’ll be making it! If the last years are any indication…you won’t be disappointed. MA Nature is the only wild card.

    Kwak = quack
    hed = hunter
    = duckhunter

    I’m sure his wife has called him a crackhead many times though.

    Be nice to this guy Bk, he’s the one who goes up chasing those monster cats on the Red. Which, if I can learn him how to post pics, he’ll have to get some up soon.

    KWAKHED = QUACKHEAD Just a play on words because all I think about is duckhunting and you can only get 7 letters on a license plate. Those are the plates on my truck!!!! Here is pics of me and my dad on the red at Lockport last year. A guy who works for me was along, we caught 155 over 30″ up to 38″ in 2 days, it was crazy fishing!!
