We will be holding our only Sturgeon contest on the St. Croix on Saturday Sept 27th between the hours of 6:00 am to 6:00 pm. There is a $10.00 entry fee, and there will be two places paid out. You can sign up here at the shop, up till noon the day of the contest. Pictures with measurements of length and gurth must be submitted to this post by Sunday morning at 10:00am for consideration.
The boundries are from the Arcola bridge down stream to the Mississippi. A control item will be posted that friday night, so be sure to check this post prior to your trip. Please be careful out there, and good luck.
