    Hey we are in!!

I sure could use a few cell numbers of those that fish either way from Jordan. I am hitting that stretch for the first time myself. Just in case.

    Just PM me.

For marine radios what channels do you all usually run on?

    All right Aqua Joe.
Channels are 65 for barge territory, above 169 you can use 69. Range is limited at times due to the territory.
    you should monitor 16 also.
Take it smooth….. Lots of deads starting to show, lots not.. but just under the surface.
    Good luck.
    PM sent

Please correct me if I am wrong but I don’t think we can fish in Jordan. I believe the cut off is the Carver train tressel??????

When you aren’t going to win anyway, it doesn’t matter where you fish. It’s just another fishing trip. Fish Mille Lacs for all I care. Captain DeMars and myself would like to thank all of you in advance.

I hope he lets me on the boat after all my schmack.

    You are correct.
    I’m guessing he meant Shakopee?

We are going to be fishing all day starting in Jordan.

When it is time for the contest we are going to pickup shop and head back to 35w or shakopee.

Think we can find a day bite??

I need to start putting some fish on the board in another contest now that I gave them all a generous head start.

Is that why you are fishing the Croix?

Aqua- I would think you could find some channels to keep you busy during the day. I have seen a few pics of big flats caught during daylight.

Some plans…and a storm turned some plans around…hit the Bungalow Inn for the Vally’s Best Fish Fry last night.

Even though we will be fishing out of bounds…the FW wants to compete with you Pro’s…and Pug.

She’s talking about heading out early for some scouting (against my better judgment because of sunbathing snakes…)

So..the gun shot starts the competition at 7pm?

Blinders and only one rod for her…

Gary!!! Where is “Your” bait shop located.

It would seem that you have the inside track on some JUICY SUCKERS.

Larry.. no limping on the button you’ll have to pay a minimun of 3 times the Big Blind for that information.

Better get a poker refresher course from your partner before the game begins..

Normally I would be down on lower P2, but I’m not fishing in my boat this time

Pug/Steve- I kid, I kid I’m sure you guys will be on fish. The Croix has been pumping out some nice fish this year

Good Luck to all who are fishing Thanks for the donations, I’ll be sure to put it to good use

No passing the fish around either to take pictures with slightly different measurements.

I sure hope you are not claiming that this has happened in the past

Speaking of poker, I was this close to hitting the smaller jackpot of a bad beat last night

My Royal Flush beat out Aces over Sevens.

Aces over eights or better and I’m 8 Grand richer

I was schmacking about passing around a fish.

I think I am missing something about your hand last night. You have to explain it slower to me. You had a Royal? You would have won with As over 8s?

Did you take second then, because I imagine if $8K went to the winner, you must have had a nice payout.

I won a 9 hand 1 table tourney last night online. I won 40% of my entry fee. Yup, no high stakes for me until I hone my game.

    Off topic sorry…

The way a bad beat works at a casino or card club:

A hand of Aces full of eights or better (someplaces it’s Aces full of tens) beaten by 4 of a kind or better.

The loser of the hand gets 50% of the jackpot
The winner of the hand gets 25% of the jackpot
The rest of the table splits the remaining 25%

Example, I have 4 sixs and you have 4 tens and the jackpot is 50,000

    I get 25k
    You get 12.5k
The rest of the table splits 12.5k evenly

    Last nights hand was

    Me…. QD and 10D
    Other guy pocket A’s

    Flop is AD 7C KD

    Turn is JD

    River is 7H

I have a Royal and he has Aces full of sevens.

There were so many possibilities in that hand. If the river had been and A K or J. It would’ve been payday.

At least you got to go fishing…I was detoured to the Bluff’s Bar and Grill last night. Too windy was the reason….and I don’t think she was talking about me…this time.
