I made it out on a too nice to work day yesterday and found the males are snapping hard right now. The presentation was slip bobbers with night crawlers on two rods and a sonny’s on the third fished in a northern bay. 5 feet of water 58 degree water temps. 16 fish came to my boat. The three that were over 10lbs all but one took the sonny’s. At 11:00am the bite shut off completely. Kept a couple of the 2lbers for the pan. Tight lines and get out for a great bite. I saw a few of the biggest males I have ever seen.
