Thought I’d start a thread to share data from tagged sturgeon.
Fish #1 (caught by AquaJoe)
Tagged 4/17/2004 at 60″ in 4 Mile Bay. It was 33 years old at tagging. Recaptured 4/19/2008 at 63″ more than 15 miles upstream in the Rainy River.

Tagged 4/25/2003 at 63″ in 4 Mile Bay. It was 29 years old at tagging. Recaptured 4/18/2008 at 67″ more than 15 miles upstream in the Rainy River.
I find it interesting that both fished moved quite a bit and are growing at less than an inch a year.
