Somewhere around Hinkley there was near white out conditions today. That cleared up and it was dry roads the rest of the way.
This photo was taken very close to the Gosh Dam Place by Winni. It’s the Avenue of Pines…with about a foot of snow I might add.
Just north of Red Lake that snow on the ground disappeared and the outside temp reached 44 degrees at 6 pm.
Driving over the bridge in Baudette, I glance towards the river and was greeted with the color blue..as in open water. Reportedly, the Rainy is open just down stream of Baudette.
Tom at Wigwam is thinking with the temps in the 60’s this week and a bit of rain on Tuesday or Wednesday, you all will be greeted with an open 4 mile bay as soon as Wed or Thurs.
