    Manny just called and said the sunfish were biting down there?

    He wasnt targeting cats, it sounds like there is a group of people down there he did not recognize, he didnt notice any fish being caught. I dont have any more info than that.

    Rum River Dam in Anoka is almost all the way open. Took the glass with me to look at the water while out biking and notice the carp in there. Looks like we got a nice spot.

    hey mplspug if you were fishing at the ruins i think i saw you there. i drove the chevy tracker that was green and fish at the end of the rails. i did not catch anything though, did you catch any?

    Yep, that was me…the guy fishing all by himself. I was a bit rusty. I had plenty of bites, but only caught one. I think the fishing would have been better had the wind been a little lighter. But I believe I got some of the winter tweak out of me and I have the patients back.

    Were you the 2 that showed up first and mixed with the group over there? How’d you do?
