Any one get a chance to catch the most recent Larry Dahlberg show on VS Sunday evening? This may have been a repeat but I had not seen it.
He travels to Surinam. (Hope I’m spelling it right).
He gets into some nice peacock bass, then goes after wolf fish. One he lands is as big as some of our biggest Flatties.
He then goes to finish the show off with a monster. Its been slow going for cats, the rest of the crew is breaking camp and he is using his last minutes to fish, when he hooks into a monster!!! He calls for the crew, while battling this thing by him self. They finally arrive as it surfaces.
The Exclamation!!! Said it all. This one had to go over 5ft possibly 6 and it took two of them to haul into the boat.
Check this one out if you get a chance. I’ve seen him get some big ones, and this ranks near the top.
I’m supposed to be getting ready to crash and I’m so pumped. Hope it leads to sweet dreams.
