I’ve been trying to locate someone to take me fishing for a week now.

I know there’s cats in Wichita…I can’t sleep at night knowing that I’m so close, but yet so far a way!!

On the off chance that a bait shop would check their email, I sent one to…

    Zeiner’s Bass Shop<<

Ya Pug, I know it’s a bass shop! But they hooked me up with a fella by the name of Mike Cook, owner of Four Lakes Guide Service<<< and we’re working out the details now.

I’m waiting for his return email with my knees and hands shaking…Kinda like Klink when he saw his sturgeon.

If the weather holds up like it has for the was week, I might get rid of this night fishing white skin tone. It’s been in the 70’s for a week.

By the way, how is the temps up there??

I’m guessing the next thing we’ll be seeing out of Hanson is a walleye avatar with Hanson in golf shorts.

Well… I think most of us would conclude that is better than a catfish photo in a Hawaiian shirt.

One have one last nice day Brian, well unseasonably nice anyway. Suppose to be near 70 tomorrow. I want to go wet my line, but work is killing me.

If you catch a flathead down there, how about you keep it and bring it back so I can try it. You know, it’s not really our resource down there, so you don’t have to concern yourself with conservation. Plus, in them parts they’d probably give you a dirty look if you tried to release it.

Is anyone from Wichita on the boards here? That’d be just what I need, a long distance angry PM.

Hanson…I’m going to invoke Stickboys infamous quote here… “If I don’t remember it…it didn’t happen”.

For all the Wichita folks that are signing on to Ida today…I know where Pug lives.

Brian, I grew up just north of Wichita. There are lots of areas to go for cats down there. Go north on 75 to John Redmond Reservoir.

MWC, I think we’ll be going to Cheney. I don’t have any rods with me…just my smile.

Klink…I thought you were going to wet your pants.

Here’s a flathead I caught earlier this summer while wearing a hawaiian shirt

    and Camo pants??

I think you made a considerable step beyond BrianK on that one!

No disrespect to catfish… but I’m out there chasing walleyes and other various scaly species now until ice up. I am still getting a few channels here and there when fishing for eyes in the river. Mostly small cats in slack water areas.

With the possible exception of a pool 4 run here or there, my catfishing is done until Feb or March.

What’s wrong with what Aanderud is wearing? I think the shirt and shorts match.
