I talked to my nephew and he wants to go fishing tomorrow. Now he’s about 25 and not only has he never targeted cats, but he’s never fished the river???

Hopefully I haven’t used all my partner luck up this year and I can put him on some fish. I’d be a shame for him to have a negative experience.

Take him to pool 4, didn’t you watch the video?

I have seen shore fisherpeopleman down there too, I’m sure a certain group of people could point you in the right direction…..to the trail

Just winterized the Sturgeon Diversion or I’d be happy to help

Oh, you’re too good to fish from shore.
I don’t know if I want to go down that far, but it has crossed my mind. That’d be dam nice though. I love fall dam fishing. I may talk myself into it.

Sadly, I don’t think I’m good enough to fish from shore

It was slow, but I didn’t expect a monster day with how rainy it has been and then the sun coming out. I missed about half a dozen bites. My nephew caught 2 smaller light biters. They were bursting with food. Got those at Lambert’s Landing and we would have stayed, but there were some shady characters making us nervous.

Tried Lilydale and got blanked. The water level was higher than I like it there.

Tried Blackdog and had a few bites. Tough fishing there as the water was way up and the current is flying. I was happy to at least see him catch a couple. In hindsight, I think we should have stayed at Lambert’s.

Nope Pug…should have been down to Everts. I know 20 to forty fish came in off our 40 foot boat. We named the boat “dock”.

Dean wouldn’t allow me to use shad as we were in a contest. He can be very mean at times.
