I’ll be out Tues, Weds…Hope to put some hours in out there!
Does it end at 11:59pm on Monday?
October 8, 2007 at 10:18 pm #614660If anyone’s got an open seat Tuesday or Wednesday, shoot me a PM! I’ll be grateful to fill it, and willing to split costs.
dtroInactiveJordanPosts: 1501October 8, 2007 at 10:57 pm #614669Looks like Thurs night for me possibly. Maybe Mon too (no work that day )
October 9, 2007 at 2:20 am #614733I’m going saturday for sure. Hopefully a can snag another seat or so for Friday night and sunday.
October 9, 2007 at 3:07 pm #614903I’ll be leaving Rochester Friday evening at midnight and fishing till our arms fall off on Saturday.
October 9, 2007 at 8:08 pm #615013Me to Jon. I put up my Day Enclosure on the pontoon thinking I could handle the cold but then I drove down to the Oak Park Heights St Croix Overlook and the whitecaps in front of Sunnyside Marina made me rethink going today. Wind gusts to 35mph. I guess I’ll wait until tomorrow too.

All I did was take the garbage out and I changed my mind! But then again I don’t have a Day Enclosure…
I’m already rethinking tomorrow. We’ll have to see if stcroixer made it out there, if he did he is going to call us wusses, sally’s, or pug.

I might see you out there Monday night. From this looks of it I’ll be leaving Roch after work and fishing till midnight.
October 12, 2007 at 8:35 pm #616055Heading for the River in 8 hours. Been excited for this trip for about 800 hours.
October 13, 2007 at 12:13 am #616087Good luck Tyler! Looks like the weather will be good on Sat, then downhill from there.
October 13, 2007 at 10:57 pm #616270If you come back tired, sunburned, sore, and used all your bait and boated a ton of fish does it mean you kick the fish’s but or they kicked yours?
October 14, 2007 at 12:18 am #616281I’d say you did a great job. Thanks for a great time. It was nice to meet you.

Is there a story and pictures?
Just got home, no record breakers, but the most fun night I’ve had this year and I didn’t even fish! Took 2 newbies out there. I’m hungry & will post something later.
October 14, 2007 at 5:45 am #616327I just am getting mine down loaded but the lady wanted to go out so I’ll get them up here as soon as possible. I got a great picture of Walleyehunter2 and his wife getting doubles together standing side by side all the way to the boat. Its a good picture!
October 14, 2007 at 3:09 pm #616365This first set is walleyehunter2 and his wife battling their doubles side by side all the way in. I thought they where some good pics of them having a blast together. They where fishing sturgeon all day on light weight rods with 12lb mono I beleave. Correct me if I’m wrong Hunter. This set is my favorite and it was fun to watch them side by side having a blast!
October 14, 2007 at 3:26 pm #616369This set is of my bigger ones. Minus the one the hook came out of that I never got to see. It was peeling my 80lb PP off my reel like no tomorrow and the drag was set high. Never got to see it. Fought with it a good 5 to 10 minutes had 3 good runs and the hook ripped out of his lip I beleave. I felt it was set good but who knows. I got a good story and a little heart break. Plus a little razzing from the crew about losing it. We all thought it would have been a biggie! The one last picture in here is of Hunter’s brother Paul with one of his fish. Walleyehunter2 don’t forget to post the pics you guys have of yourselves too
I had a great day on the water with these three. And everyone here should give them a big welcome. Walleyehunter2 and his wife are new transplants from Seattle Washington and have only been here one year. Great people and very, very fun to fish with. Thanks for the great trip guys and gal!!!!

Whoaaahhh! Down boy!I’ve got a set of big ones too but popular opinion would rule against me posting that photo!
October 15, 2007 at 12:40 am #616470Great fish guys, and way cool boat, did he bring that back from out west? It looks like one of bad a$$ Washington jet boats

Construction on that windshield would definitely make you believe that! So…dtroInactiveJordanPosts: 1501October 15, 2007 at 2:38 am #616517Ok I’ll admit it. My eyes were drawn to the boat first, the fish second
October 15, 2007 at 2:49 am #616520Yes Touh’s (just like the number 2), boat was brought with him and his wife from Seatle. It rides great. It is a black 20 foot Huese Craft. Sorry I know the speeling is wrong on that. With a 125 horse Merc outboard and a 9 horse Honda four-stroke kicker. I dont remeber what the depth-finder was and has quick draw rod holders galore. It is like a Lund Tyee only built like a tank!! Didn’t really feel too many of the cruiser’s waves unless they got too close.
Oh yeah Touh’s quite the fish chef too. He love’s to cook sea food he says!
