A special thanks to all that particapated in the last Cat contest of the season. A number of fish were caught, and we had alot of new winners. In Flatheads we had Flaco651 take first with a personal best of 43 pounds, second place went to Larry Haugh with a 26 pounder. In the Channels we had Riverhog take first with 33 x 18, and taking second place was Kyle Banes with a 33 x 17. Stories and play by plays will be added by the individual contestants as the day goes on. My fishing partner and myself were unable to match weights with the channel winners, but none the less we had a good time boating twenty or more channels.

Once again thanks to all that came out, and hope we can do this again next year.

I don’t know about 43. One scale put it at 40.9 minus the net weight. The other had it at 41.10. The LxLxG formula put it at 43. After the release we weighed a 15lb anchor with both scales. One scale read 14 something and the other was just over 15. So I guess it safe to say its a 40 class. Measurements were 44.5×28.

I still didn’t know if this fish would take top spot with Team Dtro/Flatcaster out there. Dtro and Larry have been known to stick the pigs in these contests and I wouldn’t have been surprised if they had done it again.

I’ll get some pics up this evening when I get a chance.
