I was told I get everything for free…if that was the case…it’s hard to write free off on taxes.

Now Pug…you are plugging a rod…with your fishing record? Oh..you’re on my side! Gotcha!

They aren’t as bad as I make them sound…but they are…white.

    …I’m glad I didn’t bring up the ultra expen$ive
    $t Croix’$.

I learned the hard way…bought a bunch of rods then bought the rods I liked.

Notice I didn’t say bunch of “cheap” rods and I didn’t say I bought the “best” rod?

I can tell people why I feel they are the best “to me”…it’s up to others to try them…and make up their own minds.

My best might not be your best…but a person never knows until one is used.

I don’t feel bad plugging the equipment, after all, I have no problem catching fish…if I get one on the line.

Technically they are more of a light colored green

I used a 8′ glow stick for years.. they are great rods for the buck! I think the one I had should have made the fishing hall of fame after the ’05 season! That rod got handed down to another friend.. lights didnt work anymore, but it still caught fish well.

My lights stopped working not long after I bought it. Not sure if I got it wet where the batteries go or for all I know, the batteries are just dead. Either way, I never really used them. It looks cool, but I didn’t find the light very functional. It never made it down to the tip. A spotlight on the tip to get her to glow works pretty good.

One thing that is cool is if it has been sitting in the sun and I go put it away downstairs in the dark.

I forgot to give my flat the lick.

My glowstik/6000 has become my 3rd string cat set up, only used for circle hooks channel cat fishing. When I bring it out good things seem to happen though. I never cared for the lights, and they went out on mine two years ago. Overall I think its a good rod.

My 8′ Glowstick/6500 combo with 50# PP is all the rod I need. Except for my Ugly Cat spinning combo that is!

Maybe in his mind, but I doubt the cat thought it was anything but sweet!
