About a 40 and a 50 inch sturgeon coming out of the Croix…I’m guessing it’s not a bass or a walleye.

It comes from a 507 area code…who could it be?

Someone that thinks flatheads are the only fish that fight???

Congrats to the two that boated the text 57 incher!!

Now let’s see the pics… and the story! Fish ON!

I have two posts to get up…one about porch fishing and the other about the secret bait.

It’s Saturday night and just back from the Bungalow and the grilled prime rib…it’s going to have to wait until Sunday.

Just don’t go to the grocery store until I get the secret shrimp and Anis oil info posted. Did I say that out loud???

Here she is Brian. She has a tag from the D.N.R. with a number that I’m going to give to them to find out some info on her. I’ll post the info when I get it.

Not quite as big as Ryan’s but a 57 x 21 is still a big one non the less. Especially when it jumps three feet out of the water. Whoa!

We ended up getting 13 sturgeons in the net for the day. Three of ’em were dandies. (48,50,and 57 inchers)Lost one in the anchor rope and a few misses. Cats and sheeps were also brought to the boat.

Great time fishing with Hanson. Non stop laughs.

That is a great fish and a great picture!

Brian make sure he gets Rod’s info so we can see where this fish has been. I have not heard from Rod is he still conducting the survey?

Dan, for the first time out…I would say you did WAY GOOD!!

It sure isn’t flathead fishing…but it’s just as good in it’s own way. They are so similar but yet so different.

    Sounds like I’m describing a wine…

I don’t know?????? When I hollard to him hows this one comparing to your recent big Flat….
His reply after a monstrous “Grunt” This one is pretty big and fighting a lot harder….

Though I would venture to guess that his PB Flat (From Last year) still takes the cake.

All Dan has to do is find fish he hasnt caught yet and he’ll pull in a monster.
